This Privacy Policy explains how Wyapy (a service provided by Teketik, “Company,” “we,” or “us”) collects, uses, discloses, and otherwise processes personal data on behalf of our customers – typically merchants (each a “Merchant”) – in connection with our application, Wyapy, which runs on the Clover Point of Sale system (“Clover POS”).

This Privacy Policy does not apply to our practices in any other context. Merchants remain responsible for providing any legally required privacy notices to their customers, personnel, or other individuals.

Information We Collect

Information we collect when a customer makes a payment

When a customer makes a payment via a Clover POS, we may collect information about the transaction, which can include personal data, such as:

• Payment card details
• Name associated with the payment card
• Merchant location
• Date and time of transaction
• Transaction amount
• Goods or services purchased

Additional information customers provide via Clover POS

We may also collect:

• Email address or phone number (for e-receipts or notifications)
• Marketing preferences (e.g., opting in to communications)
• Loyalty program activity
• Delivery addresses (where required)
• Optional information such as birthdate, preferences, reviews, or feedback

Information about Merchant personnel

We may collect information about Merchant personnel who interact with the Clover POS, such as:

• Login, shift, or clock-in/clock-out information
• Sales or tips earned
• Other business operational data provided by the Merchant

Additional information provided by Merchants

Merchants may provide us with additional customer or personnel information, such as:

• Email addresses
• Phone numbers
• Purchase history
• Shift or sales records

How We Use the Information

We process personal data on behalf of Merchants in order to provide and improve Wyapy, including:

• Delivering our application’s functionality
• Sending important updates, service notifications, or security alerts
• Measuring and improving performance
• Responding to inquiries and providing customer support

We may also use personal data as required to:

• Comply with applicable laws or legal requests
• Enforce the terms of our agreements
• Protect our rights, property, safety, or that of others

• The Merchant on whose behalf we collected the data
• Clover, as the platform on which our application runs (Clover’s Privacy Policy)

• Government or law enforcement authorities as required by law
• A successor entity in the event of a business transfer, merger, or acquisition

Merchants’ customers

If you are a customer of a Merchant using Wyapy, requests to access, correct, or delete your personal data should be directed to that Merchant. We will support the Merchant, or Clover if applicable, in responding to such requests.

California residents

If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including rights to access, request deletion, and information about how your data is used. Wyapy does not sell personal information. You can exercise your rights by contacting your Merchant, or by reaching out to us at the details below.

Europe and UK residents

Wyapy acts as a data processor on behalf of Merchants, who are the controllers of personal data processed in Wyapy. If applicable, you may exercise rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or UK GDPR (such as access, correction, erasure, or objection to processing) by contacting your Merchant directly. We will support Merchants in responding to requests.

Data Security and Retention

We implement appropriate security measures to protect personal information. However, no transmission or storage system is fully secure.

We retain personal data only as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements.

Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Effective Date.”
