Wyapy lets you capture item feedback in two ways:
- Internally: teammates use the Wyapy Item Feedback widget on the item tab and leave feedback directly inside monday.
- Externally: send feedback requests by email using monday.com automations (useful when the rater is not in your monday account).
The email contains a link to the Survey Experience where your user can leave the feedback.
Setup
General setup:
- Install Wyapy from the monday.com Marketplace.
- Click Use App from your apps and add Wyapy to a Board.
- Connect monday from the Wyapy Dashboard View and authorize the app.
- Create a project (this is what defines your survey and branding).
Use this when people leaving feedback are already working inside monday.com.
- Open an item in your board and go to the Item View (the item’s tab area).
- Add the Wyapy Item Feedback widget to the item tab.
- Leave feedback directly in the widget.
No email consent is required for widget-based (internal) item feedback capture.
Option B: External item feedback capture (automation email)
Use this when the person leaving feedback is outside monday.com (customers, users, vendors, etc.).
- Grant Email Consent to Wyapy from the Wyapy Dashboard (we will send item feedback request emails on your behalf).
- Go to your workflow board (the one where items represent customers, users, orders, etc.).
- Add the Wyapy automation to your board and configure it:
- Select the Wyapy project you created.
- Map the email field from your item.
- Choose when it should trigger (example: when Status changes to “Done”).
- Trigger it once to test. The item feedback request is sent automatically.
Data storage
The primary rating and comment are saved as column values on the item.
The full ratings are stored in Wyapy database and can be viewed from the Wyapy Item Feedback item tab or in the Wyapy Dashboard.
Regarding emails
Emails are sent using the Wyapy email sending system.
The name of the sender will be “YourAccountName via Wyapy”.
Emails will only be sent after you give your explicit consent in the Wyapy Dashboard View.
Data retention
Note that after the app is uninstalled, your data may be kept for a maximum of 10 days before being permanently purged from all our systems.
If you reinstall the app within this period, your data will be restored.
